Isuzu Towbars Fitting

Established back in 1916, Isuzu began from a plan of manufacturing automobiles by Tokyo Ishikawajima Shipbuilding and Engineering Co. Ltd. with the Tokyo Gas and Electric Industrial Co. after fusing with the car maker, the company was then renamed as Isuzu, after the Isuzu River, which means “fifty bells”. Today, it is a manufacturing company for commercial vehicles and diesel engines headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

The company has numerous subsidiaries all across the world, from Isuzu UK, Isuzu Motors India, to Isuzu Philippines. Commercial diesel-powered trucks, busses, and constructions act as their principal market focus with diesel engines being a major driving force of their business. Since 2009, after releasing over 21 million diesel engines, Isuzu can now be found in different vehicles across the world with their engines also being used by plenty of manufacturers including the Ford Motor Company and the Renault-Nissan Alliance.

Before, Isuzu sold passenger cars that were focused on diesel engines although, since 2009, the sales on passenger vehicles was discontinued in the United States due to lack of commercial value. Other ventures made by the company are assembly and manufacturing plants in Fujisawa and a commercial vehicle telematics service called Mimamori-kun for monitoring the actions and movements of commercial vehicles.
